    Life Lately

    Oh hey there! Remember me?

The past couple of weeks have been really…well, real.  We’ve had quite a bit going on in a short period of time and all the while life still had to happen.  Making sure the boys are taken care of, both my husband and I going to work, soccer and tae kwon do for Gav, summer camps, and so on.  I have felt more like an adult in these last few weeks than I have in my entire adult life and at the same time, I’ve felt like I’ve needed an adult other than myself.  I’ve been praying more than I ever have before, both in an effort to pray more and an effort to keep it all together.  Sometimes things fall to the wayside when life gets “in the way” and I’m so sad that this little space of mine was one that fell through the cracks.  I enjoy writing and I enjoy creating and those things have had to take a back seat.  But the storm is settling and I’ve recouped for the most part.

The Lord works in mysterious ways and I think that I can say with some certainty that his purpose in all of this, for me, was to grown up.  I have found strength that I didn’t know I had, strength I didn’t know I was capable of showing.  I’m very grateful for that.  So with all of that being said, I’m ready to fling myself back into somewhat of a routine and get back to business!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!
    XO, Kelly

I decided to share my latest venture with my Etsy shop because I’m ridiculously excited about it!
But I also need YOUR help!

I’ve branched out into the world of handmade bows.
All are handmade and hand painted.

    That’s right hand painted!
I’ve been sharing sneak peeks on my shop’s Instagram, but I’ve decided to wait until I reach 100 followers so that I know there’s a little bit of interest.

These bows are strictly available on Instagram so you have to follow along to be in the loop!!  This will all be done through PayPal and all bows will be $12 shipped.
So hop on over and share to spread to love!  THANKS!!

    Wordless(ish) Wednesday: Relief

Last week I shared my need of faith.  Today I share with you my overwhelming relief.
LM was such a champ in his surgery.  I was able to take him back to the room and hold his hand until he went to sleep.  It was hard but we had so much support, both in person and via social media.
Thank you to everyone who offered words of encouragement and love.

31 Days to an Organized Home: Kitchen Command Center UPDATE

Kitchen Command Center and Grocery List Freebie

I few weeks back I shared my Kitchen Command Center.  Since then, I have pretty much done nothing with it.  I should have taken my own advice and made it work for me.  Now it’s DEFINITELY working for me!
I took away the chalkboard.  I still love it, but it just wasn’t functional.  I added a cleaning schedule (even though I didn’t want to) and a grocery list.  I love this grocery list, it’s so classy! AND FREE!
Thanks to ellinee journal for making this freebie.  Also, the link goes to the post tutorial to make your own pad.  I just “MacGyvered” a clipboard.
I recently used this list and I loved it!  Nicely organized by section with extra lines for uncommon items and a fun little reminder at the bottom.
