It goes without saying that summer is just hot.  But here in the south, we get hoooooooot!  So we’re always trying to find ways to stay cool during these humid and hot summer days.  One thing we have a lot of around where we live are splash pads (or fountains) and my boys love them!  All I have to do is pack up the sunscreen, towels, and our favorite Nuby water canteens to stay hydrated and we’re off! I think Gav and Ro would play at the splash pad until their whole bodies were nothing but one giant wrinkle.  But every now any then they will take a break for some water and, of course, a snack. Celebrating Our Time Together With JORD

I don’t often talk much about one of the most important people in my life.  He was there before the boys and he is one of my biggest cheerleaders.  He is my companion and my partner for life.  This is Chase, my husband. This year marks a special one in our marriage.  Like many (dare I say ALL) marriages, ours is not easy.  We fight, we argue, we complain but we love.  Through it all we love.  Last year we were coming out of one of the hardest years of our marriage yet, through our faith in the Lord, we have come out of it stronger.  Our relationship is by no means perfect, we are still learning, but keeping God at the center has brought us to a new, more understanding place.  We are now coming into our best year of marriage. November 20, 2017 will mark our seventh anniversary and I never really thought much about the seventh year until recently.  Seven, in biblical terms, is a significant number.  Many sources I’ve found say that it symbolizes completion or divine perfection.  We are by no means divine or perfect and we certainly aren’t complete, but I love knowing that it…
