First off, thank you to everyone for the awesome comments on my office tour. It’s a space I love and I’m so thrilled that you like it too! Sticking with this same space today, I wanted to share how I made over a plain, standard cork board into a fun little piece. This project takes pretty minimal effort and you get a pretty fab payout!
I found this fabulous kraft basket in the the dollar spot at Target and I couldn’t pass it up. I knew it had so much potential, endless possibilities! A little paint and a little patience and I’m loving the results. What You’ll Need: Kraft Basket, Paint, Straight Edge, Pencil, SharpieUsing a straight edge, draw out your pattern. Basically what I did was create triangles of all sizes. Now paint them in, don’t worry too much about coloring in the lines, just don’t go crazy.Once the paint it dry, define the lines of the triangles with the Sharpie.I only painted one side, since that’s all you see where I’ve put it but you can do each side if you’d like.XO, Kelly
