I am so stinkin’ excited to share this room makeover with you today! It’s been on my to do list for months now and I’ve honestly wanted to do something new and fun for this bathroom since we moved in. This is our main bathroom that all of our guests use but it’s also Gav and Ro’s shared bathroom. I wanted them to have a bathroom that was kid friendly and fun, which unfortunately meant no stylish Frameless Shower Doors. The old one was definitely neither…
When we moved in, we didn’t have a ton of money left over for immediate decorating (because who does?) so we made do with what had. The room had already been painted a (very dull) mauve so I just kind of went with it. We had some paintings that were done by my husband’s grandmother and they went ok with the wall color. I also had my grandmother’s old vanity tray that kind of went along with everything. I basically tried to make florals work in there. For three years…
Please don’t judge me!
One day I happened upon Target’s ADORABLE Pillowfort line of bathroom decor and feel in love with this shower curtain for the boys. That’s when inspiration struck and I was finally ready to do something about my outdated and completely hodge-podge bathroom. I’m a sucker for a themed room so I went with waves, like in the shower curtain, and added whales because, why not?
So here it is, in all its glory! What do you think? Be sure to check out the details at the bottom!
