It’s that time of the school year already…the end! Summer is approaching (if you live in the south like we do, it’s already here) and it’s time for teacher gifts. Now, I’m a teacher myself and get a few gifts and I’m not one bit opposed to getting a gift card. Those are awesome and so appreciated! With that said, I just can’t stop my creative side from wanting to do more. I got this crazy idea in my head about a party in a box for Gav’s teachers and I had to run with it. It’s so simple, can be relatively inexpensive, and it so fun!
Oh here there, remember me? Yeah, neither did my site! You guys, I have been gone so long that my computer logged me out. That’s just not cool. My bad…
So what in the world could have possibly kept me from my favorite creative space? Short version? Life, adulting, trying to adult…etc. Long version? I’ll post about that later! You’re here for a new DIY! (but seriously, you should come back because it’s shop stuff and I’m gonna be selling some pretty stuff here really soon!)
What You Need: A Box, Party/Fun Stuff, Confetti/Gift Filler, Wrapping Paper, Sharpie
All you need to do is line the bottom of your box(es) with the confetti or filler and then pack it full of party goodies! The boxes I found to use were a pack of five from Target for less than $5.
Here’s what inside our boxes:
- Mug Cakes
- Mini Champagne Bottle
- Glitter Flute
- “Treat Yourself ” Treat Cups
- Party Straws
- Fruit Shaped Drink Floaties
- and Lots of Chocolate!
Once you’ve filled the box(es) wrap them up and save a tree or two by writing directly on the paper.
Party…in a box…happy summer!
I hope Gav’s teachers enjoy their boxes as much as I enjoyed putting them together!
