I am so much more a mountain girl than a beach girl.  I prefer the colder temperatures to sandy bottoms and wet clothes.  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate the beach.  It’s beautiful and warm and all that good stuff. But given the choice, I’d choose the mountains every time.

They are majestic, beautiful, and, for me, it is where I feel God’s presence.  Our trip was a wonderful time spent with each other and nature.  We also spent some time with my sister-in-law and her husband since they were there for their anniversary too.

I got to see hubs old stomping grounds from when he lived there and his favorite natural places.  Cade’s Cove is definitely one of my favorite spots now.  We stayed in a camper, not your traditional vacation choice, but it was such a fun experience that I can’t wait to do it again.  I can already see family trips, when Mr. G (and/or any other children we have) is older.  And since we were in Pigeon Forge, you have to do a touristy thing or two!  But enough chatting, lets get down to pictures!
