My mom took LM and me to the children’s museum in Atlanta a few weeks ago. We LOVED it! It was a lot of fun for LM since most of the activities were appropriate for his age.
I swear, I will never ever get tired of watching him explore.
One of the activities that we thought was particularly neat-o was the moon sand. I had never played with it before and LM loved to touch it and play in it. Well, of course our next thought was,”We NEEEED this.” But then the next thought, if you know me, was, “I NEEED to DIY this!”
My mom found an easier that easy recipe on Pinterest and I got to work.
What You’ll Need: Large Container, Baby Oil, Flour
|You’ll need more flour than pictured.|
The recipe is 8 cups flour and 1 cup baby oil. I doubled it to have enough to really play in.
It holds shape really well.
This is most defintely an OUTDOOR activity. As you can see, it can be messy.
