Our Trip to Virginia

My mom and I were so excited to make this trip to Virginia to see my aunt and grandfather.  I haven’t seen them since LM’s birthday in January and I hadn’t been back to VA since my grandmother’s passing.  My aunt had our whole stay planned out.  So many fun things to do and our hopes were high. And let me tell you, we were not disappointed!
Our first day started off with a pedicure for my mom and I.  My aunt doesn’t let the light of day touch her feet so she watched Gavin.  But there was a catch, we had to get my grandfather to do it too.  It wasn’t easy, but here’s the proof!
He loved it!  Plus, my aunt got to spend some one on one time with LM playing on the rides.
After the nail salon, it was off to the petting zoo.  LM does very well with animals for the most part.  Cats, smaller dogs and such are fine but bigger animals are a little scary.  Needless to say, he did not like the overzealous adult goats.
But the babies he loved!
And they loved him….well maybe just his pants!
He has a new love of turtles too.
Then it was the pony ride.  I was a little apprehensive about how he would react.  But I think that with the pony being so much bigger, and much less aggressive than the goats, he was very calm.
Time to ride!
He loved it so much that he refused to get off and the handler let him go for another trip around the yard!
Our Second day was full of outdoor fun.  First up, Strawberry picking!  This was even a first for me.
LM’s favorite thing to do was to pick, take a bite, and put it in the bucket.  By the time we were done, about half the berries had a bite taken out of them.
The farm also had some products for sale and I had to get some of their honey.
FIY: It’s delicious!
On to the beach.  I love that this kid isn’t afraid of things.  He’s ready to try just about anything.
Day three, we hit the children’s museum.  So much exploring and learning fun for LM.
Trains are a new favorite too!
Day four was a very unique experience.  My aunt works on the naval base in Norfolk and she’s the Regional Manager for Navy owned forklifts.  We visited the warehouse where all of the heavy equipment is stored and worked on.
LM didn’t want to leave.  He could have run around that warehouse all day!
Days five and six were relaxing and involved some fun thrifting and fro-yo.  Two of my favorite things ever!
We had such a great time.  Our trip was full of fun and firsts!  So many memories made and great time with family.

    Hello,

I am writing today in hopes of gaining your interest in reviewing the Dermagist Skin Care line on your blog. We often times do reviews / giveaways with bloggers such as yourself. I saw your site and thought perhaps it would be a good match for us both. Usually we provide you with a free product of your choice, such as the Complete Rejuvenation System. You can put a picture and a review on your website and even run a sweepstakes for your readers to win a Free Treatment (depending on which one you choose yourself) of their own. Then, when someone does win, you can simply email us the name and address of the winner and I will have one sent out to them right away. Our website is http://www.dermagist.com. Please take a chance to review our products as we have many products and different packages.

What we ask for from you is this. You must link to us from your review. If you choose to do a giveaway on your website, we ask that your contestants like us on Facebook and comment as to why they like or are excited to try the products, etc.
If this is of interest to you or you have any questions, please email me back and we can make arrangements to take the next step. Thanks for your time and your consideration. Have a pleasant day!
